Aserca Airlines was founded in 1968 as Aeroservicios Carabobo an air taxi operator. In July 1990, Valencia businessman Simon Garcia purchased the company and in September 1992 rebranded it as Aserca Airlines when first scheduled jet service was operated on route Valencia-Puerto Ordáz using DC-9 aircraft registered YV-714C. In 1998 they've had absorbed Air Aruba and takeover of 1 DC-9 and 1 MD90. On 2008 they allied with Santa Barbara Airlines (SBAirlines) and now it operates a fleet of Dc9's and MD's. Last flight operated 2/16/18. AOC Removed 05/22/18
