Scheduled passenger operator founded by a group of venezuelan pilots and investors in 1993 as Lineas Aereas del Servicio Ejecutivo Regional Compañía Anónima and started airline operations in March 11, 1994. The airline began operating the Porlamar-Caracas-Porlamar route with a single Douglas DC-9 aircraft and by the year 1995 bought a Boeing 727-200 to expand their national route network to Barcelona, Maracaibo, Guanare and Barinas also international charter flights to Sao Paulo, Dominican Republic, Aruba and Curaçao. In their beginnings they characterized by offering business class services and open bar in their flights. After the 2000's, the airline continued growing acquiring a major fleet of Douglas DC-9's and then replaced them with the modern McDonnell Douglas MD-81s, MD-82s and MD-83s. The airline by the year 2016 was the greatest choice by Venezuelans for trips in and out of the country and has also an unblemished punctuality of 98.8% in the statistics. As of 2022, the company operates to several destinations from its hub at Caracas, as well as international service to Panama City and Santo Domingo, Services to Aruba, Curacao, Bogota, Cancun, Guayaquil, Miami, and Punta Cana have ended.
