Founded by Claude Rousseau in 1963. Company commenced operations in July serving Islands in the English Channel / La Manche. Company grew and eventually served regional routes throughout France and even few International destinations like Geneva, Basel and London. In 1970 Rousseau started to operate for Air Inter under Rousseau Air Inter brand on Paris - Quimper route and carried 200,000 passengers. Economic difficulties and series of accidents made the company vulnerable to take over. In 1973 SASMAT parent company of TAT purchased the controlling interest in the company. By 1976 company was fully integrated into TAT.
