Trans Global was owned by New Jersey-based Central Travel Agency, and planned to operate charters to the Iberian peninsula in the summer months, as well as to vacation spots in the Caribbean and Mexico in the winter. It received a CAB certificate for domestic and overseas charter authority in December 1979. It did not begin operations until the spring of 1984. The airline suspended operations in September 1984 and was forced into involuntary bankruptcy.
