First dedicated cargo airline in Japan was established in 1978 but did not start operations until 1985. Airline was founed as joint venture between Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line) a shipping conglomerate and ANA All Nippon Airways. ANA has relinquished its stake to Nippon Yusen in 2005. NCA operates scheduled cargo flights throughout east asia, Milan, Frankfurt and Amsterdam in Europe, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Guadalajara and Anchorage in North America.
