Founded as regional airline of Air One using brand new Bombardier CRJ-900 regional jets. Air One merged with Alitalia in January 2009. Air One CityLiner has been re-branded Alitalia CityLiner in April 2010 together with former Alitalia's regional arm Alitalia Express. Its fleet of CRJ-900 will be replace by Embraer 175s and 195s starting in fall 2011 which were originaly destined for Alitalia Express.
