Regional airline founded and controled by Lyndon Gardiner its CEO as Interisland Airways. Lyndon Gardiner learned flying in Florida. Upon its return to Turk and Caicos started informal one man air taxi operation called Interisland Airways. By 1999 Interisland operated small fleet. In 2003 Interisland Airways became an airline serving domestic market at firts. Air Turk & Caicos acquired Sky King Airlines in August 2008 becoming only airline based on the Islands. Skyking operated government subsidized inter island service and also ran an FBO at Providenciales airport. ATC is part of Interisland Group of companies which also include Providenciales FBO Provo Air Center, flight support company and an agent for UPS. ATC operates scheduled passenger flights to Nassau, Kingston, Port au Prince, Cap Haitien, Santiago de los Calaberos and Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. Airline also operates inter island service between Grand Turk and Caicos Islands.
