Air Peru International was proposed international carrier with ambition to became Peru's national airline and operate intercontinental network that would include North America and Europe. Airline commenced operations in December 2007 on Lima - Miami - Washington DC route on charter basis. Airline used Boeing 757 leased from Primaris Airlines of USA, but never received its scheduled passenger carrier certificate and the project was canceled just few months later.
