USA Jet Airlines formed in 1994, with the purchase of DC-9 freighters, along with the merger of ActiveAero's certificate. Provides ad-hoc air cargo charter solutions for a variety of customers/charter brokers. While currently focused on cargo charters, it did run a passenger charter business in the mid-2000's with some of its convertible DC-9's and an MD-80. Operated charters for the NCAA, Direct Air Tours, several political campaigns, along with popular music bands such as U2. The airline also lent jets to Hollywood, in the making of several films.
