note
A subsidiary of the Flight International Group, this airline had applied to the CAB authority in early 1984 to operate domestic and foreign charters charters. Instead, on May 18, 1994, it acquired American Charter Enterprises, parent of bankrupt Aerostar Airlines. The Aerostar certificate was transferred to Flight International, and the airline eventually received scheduled authority. It never received an FAA operating certificate, so flights never commenced. Its CAB certificate was revoked in 1987. Flight International received a new CAB certificate in 1989 to operate a BAC-111 in charter services.Due to financial, legal, and managerial complications, the airline again never commenced operations, and its certificate was revoked.
