Founded as Cable Flying Service, an air taxi, rental and flight instruction outfit. Company began to offer shceduled flights between LAX and Inyokern in 1956. Soon company moved to Ontrio CA and started other services to Ventura, Palmdale, San Bernardino and Orange County from LAX and Ontario. Commuter airline merged with Aero Commuter and Catalina Airlines to form Golden West Airlines in July 1969.
