Rhoades originally operated all cargo services as an air-taxi operator using DC-3 and Convair aircraft from a base in Columbus, IN. The airline eventually filed for bankruptcy, and was acquired by the the parent of Trans Executive Airlines of Hawaii on January 5, 2012. It acquired DOT authority to operate large aircraft (737s) in Hawaii inter-island all cargo operations.
