Aerial Transit received CAB authority to operate cargo charters in June 1983, and the following year received authority to operate scheduled charters from the US to the Caribbean and Central America. In December 1992 the airline filed for bankruptcy and suspended operations in December 1993. In 1994 it was sold to Southeast Cargo Airlines Inc., and briefly resumed operations until October 3, 1994.
