Charter airline set up as Purdue Aeronautical Corporation of Purdue University which was the first in the nation to offer civil aeronautical degrees and pilot training to its students. It was unique setup where students working on their pilot licenses were flying as co-pilots on real world charter flights.
Purdue Airlines was also contracted by Hugh Hefner to fly his "Playboy Bunny" DC-9.
