Both companies are owned by London based Lonrho Investment company specializing in infrastructure and travel investments across Africa. EasyGroup Holdings Ltd was majority stake holder and owner of the Fastjet brand with the rest being held by Lonrho. Solenta Aviation Holdings Ltd has become majority owner since. Fastjet will commence service using Airbus A319 based at Dar Es Salaam. Airline plans to establish a hub at Nairobi as well and operate fleet of up to 40 A319s across Africa.
