It operated a fleet of Citations, Falcons, and Cessna Titans for Emery Express, as well Learjets on a Los Angeles to Columbus route for Purolator Courier. In April 1980 it was authorized to replace the Lears with a 737. In October 1983 it received CAB authority to operate scheduled passenger and cargo authority.
IASCO operated several 727s for Emery and Burlington, neither of which had its own FAA operating certificates. It also operated a pair of TriStars for Five Star Airlines.
In April 1985 began trading as Spirit of America. In April 1986, it acquired CAM Air International, but the airlines continued to operate separately It lost both Emery and Burlington contracts in 1989, and ceased operations on June 16.
