Mahalo Air began inter-island service on October 4, 1993 flying F.27s Empire Airlines certificate. Operations were suspended May 30, 1995 when its contect with Emprie expires. Flights resumed with ATR42s operating under its own certificate on November 1. The airline ceased operations in 1997.
