All Cargo airline can trace its history to East Midlands based Air Bridge Carriers which was established already in 1972. In September 1992 the airline changed its name to Hunting Cargo Airlines, which more closely aligned it with parent, Hunting Group. A parallel operation was established in Ireland in 1993, and all operations were transferred to the new company in 1997. In June 1998 the airline was sold to a group owned by Compagnie Maritime Belge and Safair (division of Imperial Group), and its name was changed to Air Contractors Ltd. In 2007 Imperial Group sold its shareholdings to 3P Air Freighter/Petercam SA. The parent company (ACL Group) acquired Europe Airpost in March 2008. The company was renamed ASL Aviation Group in 2014 and the Irish operation now trades as ASL Airlines Ireland.
