Full service scheduled passenger and cargo airline operating domestic flights in eastern Ukraine and international flights to Russia, Riga, Vilnius, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Baku, Dubai, Munich, Athens, Beirut, Aleppo, Istanbul and resorts in Egypt and southern Turkey. Donbassaero also provides numerous charters for leisure tour operators. Airline can trace its history to aviation company founded in Donetsk by Stalin's city council as Donetsk Unitary Aviation Group. Airline functioned as local division of Aeroflot. In 1982, Yakovlev Yak-42 were introduced and airline became specialist in maintenance of the type. In 1992, after Aeroflot stopped to function in the city, company was renamed Donetsk Aviation Enterprise. Airline started to built its network and in 1998 was renamed Donbass Eastern Ukraininan Airlines, which was changed in 2003 to Donbassaero.
