As its name implies, KMV was scheduled passenger and cargo airline based in spa region and gateway to Caucasian mountains Mineralnye Vody. KMV was state owned until 2010 when Aeroflot acquired it but continued to operate as independent brand. KMV ceased operations on September 28th 2011 after it failed to provide documentation required to renew its AOC. Donvavia (also owned by Aeroflot) honored all outstanding passenger tickets. KMV served 18 destinations in Russia, Ukraine and Armenia. It also operated weekly flights to Munich, Tashkent and Paphos.
