note
Formed by the Trump organization to acquire and operate the Eastern Shuttle. Trump Shuttle began operations on June 8, 1989 on the Boston-New York-Washington routes, and also operated Atlantic City services from Boston, as well as weekend charters. Financial problems forced the airline to look for a buyer. US Airways bought the operation on April 1, 1992 and operated it as a separate subsidiary. Some Boston-Washington (National) and Boston/New York-Washington (Dulles) services were added in 1999, but were actually operated by US Airways (737/DC-9). US Airways merged the Shuttle into US Airways on July 1, 2000.
