note
Aer Lingus established a UK subsidiary airline during 2020 with plans to launch transatlantic services from Manchester Airport to Barbados, Boston, New York JFK and Orlando. The initial fleet consists of an A321LR and two A330-300s (transferred from parent company). Due to the COVID Pandemic operations were delayed until late 2021 with the inaugural service to Barbados commencing on October 20th. Services to the US airports finally got underway in December 2021.
