On February 24, 2021, the owner of the company was indicted on drug charges, money laundering, export violations, and aircraft registration violations. The indictment stemmed from a TV investigation which questioned why thousands of airplanes were registered to townw that had no airports. The indictment alleges that AGC provides N numbers to foreign actors who use aircraft for illicit purposes and to circumvent US laws.
