Formerly MGM Grand Air, owned by MGM Mirage Casino in Las Vegas, was sold in 1994 to Front Page Tour of Minnesota, specializing in sporting event charters for fans and teams. Company was acquired by Northwest Airlines and Minnesota Twins Baseball team owner Carl Pohlad. The company moved to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and provided charters for MLT Vacations, a tour operator associated with Northwest Airlines. Northwest incorporated its MLT Vacations flights into its own capacity. NBA also canceled its contract with Champion and company had to cease operations in May of 2008.
