On November 15, 2013, Air Georgian and Regional 1 Airlines completed a joint venture through the creation of a parent company, Regional Express Aviation Ltd. (“REAL”), based in Calgary, Alberta. Company operated express freight service as Georgian Express until 2007 when that division was sold to CargoJet. Its code-sharing arrangement with Air Canada using Beech 1900s ended in 2018, while the capacity purchase agreement with Air Canada using CRJ 200s ended in January 2020
