Chair Airlines is the successor to the former Germania Flug AG in Switzerland. Germania Flug AG was launched in August 2014 as an independent Swiss airline‚ and is based in Glattbrugg in the canton of Zurich. In February 2019‚ Albex Aviation Ltd acquired the entire share package of Germania Flug AG in Switzerland. In May 2019‚ the Polish charter airline Enter Air purchased 49.99% of the shares. With a stake of 50.01%‚ Albex Aviation remains the majority shareholder.
